Description:

Built in 1892 by local benefactor Abraham Dixon for the use of local people for social, leisure and education. It is still used 116 years later and has a beautifully restored interior. During HODs there will be an opportunity to view the interior and some new exhibitions of Hidden Treasures including the Leatherhead Institute, Bridges and Tunnels and Hidden Treasures from old photographs. There will also be an exhibition on the work of the Lower Mole Countryside Trust, ‘Conserving Countryside Heritage’.

The Institute is at the junction of the east end of Leatherhead High Street and Leret Way
