Description

The Grade II listed Midland Railway signal box built in 1892 has been restored and the operating floor will be open to the public. It is the only signal box adjacent to an operational main line railway with public access. Signalling demonstrations will run continuously, with video and slide shows. Steam traction engine rides available.

200 yds South of City station - platform 4 exit. Free parking in Ridgmont Road.
