Description
Village's archives and photographs on display covering the history of Lockton and Levisham. Accompanied walk to the Church in the Valley if desired (approx. 3/4 mile but very steep).

If desired an accompanied walk to the Church in the Valley. Note this is approx. 3/4 mile one way across a very steep and unmade track so suitable footwear is required.
Directions
A169 from Pickering towards Whitby. After approx. 6 miles turn left (signed Lockton and Levisham). Follow the road through Lockton to Levisham (approx 1.5 miles and signed). Levisham Village Hall is on the left in the centre of the village. No parking restrictions in the village. Road is narrow and not suitable for coach parking. May park right up to the door of the Village Hall on grass verge.
Public Transport Details
Infrequent bus service terminating at Lockton using the Whitby to Leeds service. From the bus stop Levisham Village Hall is 1.5 miles on narrow roads and steep.
Opening Times
Saturday 11th September: 1000-1600, walk by arrangement
Access
Very small, single step into the Village Hall. Once inside wheelchair access to toilets is possible but tight.
Additional Information
Max 50 at a time otherwise the hall can become cramped. Tea and coffee on request (donation appreciated). No dogs in the village hall except for assistance.
