Description
Come and visit the Castle and grounds for free once more as Drogo takes part in the Heritage Open Day Scheme, which celebrates England's architecture and culture. Tours of the garden will be available.

Directions
5 miles south of A30 Exeter - Okehampton. Take A382 Whiddon Down - Moretonhampstead road and turn off at Sandy Park. Approach lane is narrow with tight corners. Free parking approx. 400 yds from castle entrance.
Public Transport Details
BUS - Stagecoach Devon 173 Exeter - Moretonhampstead service. Runs Mondays - Saturdays and stops at the bottom of the drive.

Access
Access to castle limited as many flights of stairs and different levels. Only Hall and Library fully accessible.
Additional Information
Why not take advantage of our behind the scenes roof tours and discover the hidden Drogo? Tours every half an hour from 1100 - 1630. Max 20 people per tour. Tickets available on the day only, from Visitor Reception, £1.50 per person, including NT Members. The property is situated at a height of nearly 300 metres within Dartmoor National Park and can experience extreme weather conditions. Appropriate clothing and footwear are recommended.
