St Anthony's Hall Revealed! Take a 45 minute tour of one of York's finest buildings - a 15th century Guild Hall, now used as the setting for a fantastic display of heritage and contemporary textiles. One of our volunteer tour guides will take you all the way back to 1446 before leading you back to present day, pointing out interesting architectural features and revealing some of the hall's hidden secrets along the way! Free tours, only available to those who book in advance.

Directions

We are easy to find, just inside the City Walls, near the Foss Bank. The Museum is 15-20 minutes walk from the station. Walk towards the Minster and turn right onto Lendall. Follow the high street down towards Stonebow and continue onto Peasholme Green.

Additional Information

Max 15 people per tour. Please book early as tours fill quickly. No children under 7. Visitors to the Quilt Museum and Gallery are still welcome - the Museum is open as normal Monday-Saturday, 1000-1600 throughout (subject to admission fee).
