Description
Guided by expert rangers, visitors will be taken on a 3 mile walk to experience the results of a three week Roman villa and tile-kiln excavation by the volunteers from the Surrey Archaeological Society. See this year's finds, hear from the archaeologists, and treat yourself to tea and cake (donations to local charity).

Cross over level crossing heading away from village, Common is before you, turn left along Woodfield Road and Estate Office is on left after 150m.

Max 40 per walk. Voluntary donations for refreshments to local charity. Copies of a free children's quiz (A Georgian Detective Trail in the Mole Valley) are available from Mole Valley Libraries, Leatherhead HelpShop, Dorking Halls and to download at http://www.molevalley.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=9053. Find out about Georgian Mole Valley and have fun at the same time! The quiz is particularly suitable for 8-11 year olds and there will be a prize for the winning child's entry submitted by 17 September.
