Description
In the basement are the remains of an in-situ Roman hypocaust which heated part of the legionary bath-house complex. There is also a Medieval rock-cut cellar.

Additional Information
No booking required but could those visiting the site please notify a member of staff on entering the premises. The remains are accessed via steps that are not suitable for wheelchair users.
