Description
Walking tour of Rock Park Conservation Area. Tour/Walk of Rock Park Estate, built by a consortium of merchants who bought the New Ferry Pier in 1835 and then bought 3 acres of land to build houses for themselves. Meeting at New Ferry Pier at the bottom of the Dell. Lasts approx. 1hr 30 min. Strong footwear recommended. For more information contact Simon Petris on 0151 6447863.
Public Transport Details
Bus numbers: 1, 401, 41 & 42. Nearest train station is Rock Ferry but there is a good mile and half walk to the meeting point at New Ferry Pier at the bottom of the Dell.
