Church House, Crowcombe, Taunton, Somerset, TA4 4AA
Croiwcombe's Church House is one of the two surviving church houses in Somerset. Grade 2* listed and a charity, it celebrated its 500th birthday last year. Its principal feature is the Gallery's original seven bay arched braced roof, with three tiers of windbraces.

Wheelchair access downstairs but not to the upstairs Gallery
Church House was originally built for the holding of church 'ales' , community celebrations to raise money for good causes. Later downstairs became home for the destitute, and upstairs for a charity school. Nowadays it is a favourite venue for wedding receptions, family parties, artist exhibitions, craft fairs and club events.
Crowcombe is 10 miles from Taunton, off the Taunton - Minehead A358. Church House is opposite Crowcombe Church.
