Combe Martin Museum, Cross Street, Combe Martin, Ilfracombe , Devon, EX34 0DH

The museum holds three floors of local history, social, trade and industry and maritime. We have a marine lab equipped with a video microscope for use. The museum is very child friendly lots of buttons to press. The museum is Makaton friendly (a sign/symbol language for those who find communication a challenge). Our displays have symbols for use. Cream Teas in the Sail Loft, free entry to the Museum. The museum has puzzles, colouring, games and books for the children to enjoy, a quiz with a small prize and much much more. Event not suitable for children under the age of 1.

The museum is well signposted and also is 5 miles from Ilfracombe where Damien Hirst's statue of Verity can be seen on the harbour.
