Gladstone Pottery Museum, Uttoxeter Road, Longton, Stoke on Trent , Staffordshire, ST3 1PQ

Explore Gladstone Pottery Museum, the only complete Victorian pottery factory, free of charge in celebration of Heritage Open Days! Watch skilled workers demonstrate pottery skills and explore the iconic bottle ovens, once used to fire pottery which was exported around the globe. The cobbled courtyard will be filled with craft stalls from local makers, making our Heritage Open Day the ideal time to enjoy Gladstone and do some shopping. The site has plenty of interactive and exciting areas for children and families to explore, including 'Flushed with Pride' which tells the story of the toilet. Take the Privial Pursuits quiz, watch a video in a sewer and take a walk through the smelly slum.
