Visit the Waterways Museum to uncover the story of Britain’s waterways and the history behind Gloucester Docks. The Museum has displays and activities especially for children so that they can learn about our waterways heritage. See the fine stationary steam engine, manufactured by the well-known local engineering company ‘Fielding and Platt’. A guided walk around Gloucester Docks is also available.

Pedestrian access to the docks is near the corner of Southgate Street and Commercial Road.
