A purpose built Museum opened in 1886. Designed by Thomas M Lockwood to house the collections of Charles Kingsley and the Chester Society of Natural Science, Literature and Art. Family friendly galleries, room layouts and interpretation to suit all visitors. Free special drop-in activities on Saturday - family craft activities.
