Ightham Mote is a beautiful 14th century moated manor house, set within the rolling hills of the Kent countryside. Stroll through the rooms and witness nearly 700 years of history under one roof. Since being built in 1320 Ightham Mote has been owned by some colourful characters including medieval knights, courtiers to Henry VIII, Victorian high society and an American businessman. Enjoy the beautiful gardens and surrounding estate.

There is a 1:5 slope from Visitor Reception to the House. Please enquire at Visitor Reception about the alternative entrance. Wheelchair access is restricted to the ground floor of the house only. There is a virtual tour and photograph album in the Great Hall.
