Come and join us for a guided trail and discover the Trowbridge's fascinating history and unique heritage!
Glimpse the legacy of Trowbridge’s Weaving past- enjoy a guided tour around the centre and learn about the quite unique collection of buildings and heritage that remain from Trowbridge’s industrial heyday. Ask questions, have a discussion, then finish with tea and cake at Boswell’s café!
The tour will meet at the Museum front desk at 10:15, ready to depart at 10:30. Event not suitable for children under the age of 14.
Main site is open and free to explore but the trail must be pre- booked

Trowbridge Museum is situated in the Shires Shopping Centre, on the 2nd floor of Home Mills. For easy parking, use the car park next to Asda which is accessed from Bythesea Road and use the Shires Shopping Centre entrance close to ASDA. Head straight to Boswell’s Cafe, take the left fork and you will find the museum on your left. The Museum has wheel chair access by lift. Please check before you come that the lift is working. Please be aware that the trail route goes through the Town, participants must be able to navigate uneven pavements and be comfortable crossing busy roads.
Max 10 people per tour/session. Please book min advance, 10 places maximum per trail.
Trowbridge Museum is in The Shires shopping centre, please use car park for the shopping Centre and follow signs to the Museum.
