Monk's House, Rodmell, Lewes, East Sussex, BN7 3HF

Nestled down a quiet lane in the picturesque village of Rodmell, Monk's House is a real hidden gem. Once home to the 20th century literary icon Virginia Woolf and her husband Leonard, the 17th century weather boarded cottage exudes character and charm. Why not try your hand at bowls, one of the favoured pastimes of the Woolfs.

This event took place in September 2014 and the entry is now archived.

Access

There are numerous steps in the garden and into and exiting the house.

Directions

Rodmell is located 3 miles south of Lewes on the C7.
