Quarry Bank Mill, Styal Road, Styal, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 4LA

The River Bollin flows through the site and the history of Quarry Bank; a source of life, power and leisure. This special Heritage Open Days event celebrates the role of the river in the past, present and future of the Mill with storytelling, hands on activities and special behind-the-scenes access to our brand new Hydro and Fish Pass scheme. The spectacular backdrop of the garden and woods contrasts with the working Mill, providing an unforgettable day out for all. Families can enjoy special hands-on water activities, take part in interactive storytelling, experience a family tour of the Apprentice House and explore the gardens with a Tracker Pack. Event not suitable for children under the age of 5.

This event took place in September 2014 and the entry is now archived.

Access to parts of the Mill and Garden is limited for wheelchair users but a buggy service is available from the car park and wheelchair accessible routes are available in the Mill.
