The heritage centre is housed in an iconic Grade II listed Sunday school building dating from 1814. The museum galleries tell the story of silk manufacturing in Macclesfield and include a costume display from the 19th century to present. There will be an exhibition commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Macclesfield Sunday School Building. Cedric the Silkworm quiz and Victorian dressing up box.
