Visit The John Moore Museum and the Old Baptist Chapel for FREE and discover these hidden gems a short walk from Tewkesbury town centre. Established in 1980 in memory of the writer and naturalist John Moore, it is home to an extensive Natural History collection, a beautifully restored Tudor Merchant's House and the Old Baptist Chapel, one of the oldest of its kind. Children and families will find plenty of fun activities to keep them entertained at the museum including quizzes, an animal handling table and Tudor replica items to handle and try on!

We apologise but due to the nature and age of our buildings they are unsuitable for wheelchair users or visitors with walking difficulties.
Entrance to the Museum and buildings will be free on both the Saturday and Sunday.
Find us by the Abbey in a beautifully restored row of timber framed buildings. Take Junction 9 off the M5 and follow the signs to Tewkesbury Abbey. There are numerous car parks nearby. Map link.
