Local members of the Veteran-Cycle Club will showcase a selection of nostalgic bicycles dating as far back as 1910. The event will form part of the Centenary celebrations of the publication of D.H. Lawrence's classic novel Sons and Lovers. Lawrence's character Paul Morel enjoyed to cycle, and explore the beautiful countryside of the area, as did Lawrence himself.

This event forms part of the annual D.H. Lawrence Festival which this year will pay homage to the writer D.H. Lawrence's classic novel Sons and Lovers, in its centenary year.
