Description:
Twice daily talk on ruins of medieval Quarr abbey for HODs. The monastic church is open all day (no charge) every day. Architect Dom Paul Bellot. Grade II* listed. Traditional Gregorian chant. French interpretation avaiilable and Spanish interpretation offered on selected sessions.

No need to book. Meet at disabled parking area at Old Abbey. Parking area is 1/2 m from Old Abbey and access by rough track. Disabled & all toilets adjacent to teashop at present monastery

Ryde Cemetery Open Day

The Cemetery Lodge, 63 West Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight, PO33 2QF
Description:
Open days with exhibition (in the front garden of the lodge) on the social history of the town of Ryde and the people buried in Ryde Cemetery. Short guided tours of part of the cemetery will be offered (weather permitting).
Directions:
The Lodge is just inside the cemetery gates
