Heritage Open Days has launched a new blog, offering a unique behind-the-scenes look of the event - every week, throughout the year. We have drafted in the support of 12 volunteers from across the country, each contributing their distinct voice and specific experience in regular posts.
The variety of topics will range from marketing tips to themed programme previews, from clues that help you spot period features to ways of recruiting volunteers. Whether you're interested in opening up a site to the public or you'd like more in-depth information about the heritage featured in Heritage Open Days, you will find a mine of first-hand information and advice. From mid-July every year, the national online directory provides plenty of interest and diversion for those in search of hidden treasures in their neighbourhood. Our team blog is a good reason to keep in touch with us outside the Heritage Open Days season.
