Futures Group

The Futures Group was established to guide the Heritage Open Days National Partnership’s development of a five-year strategy by October 2012 to secure the programme’s long term future.

Membership

Graham Bell (Chair) – Director, North of England Civic Trust. Council member Europa Nostra. Secretary Europa Nostra UK. NECT has been organiser of HODs in the North east for many years

John Newbigin – Chair, Culture 24 and Creative England. Former Head of Corporate Relations at Channel 4 and special adviser to Chris Smith.

Bridget Sawyers – Chief Executive, Architecture Centre Network. Former Head of Regions, CABE and Senior Architect, Arts Council England.

Rick Wills – Trustee, National Trust.  Former Chair of BA London Eye. Chair, Princes Foundation for Children and the Arts. Chair, executive search agency Tyzack Associates.  Non-executive Director, Alexandra Palace Trading

David Lovie – Trustee, Civic Voice. Alnwick Civic Society. Local HODs co-ordinator

Esther Gill – Our Histories. Project co-ordinator of Creative Landscapes, Screen South, and Speaking Up for Disability, Voice for Disability. Former English Heritage Outreach Manager for the South East
