Heritage Open Days is a completely free event; free for visitors to explore and free for organisers to take part. This would not be possible without the generous support of our funders.
In 2018, players of People’s Postcode Lottery will co-fund Heritage Open Days with £300K, alongside invaluable support from the National Trust.

People’s Postcode Lottery is a charity lottery whose players support charities across Great Britain and globally; to date players have awarded over £263 million to good causes.
We’re delighted to see players’ support impacting the growth of the festival year on year, with increasing numbers of local events, volunteer involvement and benefit to local economies. It is wonderful to see individuals, families and communities rallying to protect their local heritage, standing up for their environment and safeguarding historic connections between the generations.
