Major port on the Steeping River to quiet town. Find the hidden history of Wainfleet and our fabulous Magdalen Museum building. Refurbished museum, walled garden, quirky tearoom and church (not normally open the public) all open for you. Guided walk around Wainfleet starting at the Museum Thursday & Sunday at 14.30 and lasts approximately 1 hour.

Access Information
The Museum is up a spiral staircase in a 500+ year old building so wheelchair access is not possible although there will be photographs and other display material available downstairs. The tearoom and walled garden are accessible. Wainfleet is flat so wheelchair users should be able to follow the walk round the town. Additional free parking available in St John’s Street and the Market Place.

Directions
By train – exit the station and follow the brown sign along Silver Street 2 mins walk. By bus - (Skegness Boston via Wainfleet No 7) get off at Market Place, take St John’s Street 2 mins walk. By car - enter Wainfleet from A52. From Boston - at the railway crossing take Silver Street follow brown sign Museum 200 yards on the right. From Skegness- St John’s Street passing Market Place, the Museum is on the left.
