See the Grade II listed Long Shop, the world's first building for assembly line production, and enjoy guided tours throughout the day to discover more about this extraordinary site of engineering. Plus see our current exhibition about the enterprising Garrett family and the life of Elizabeth Garrett Anderson, Britain's first female doctor and mayor.
Don't miss our engines in steam especially today, and delicious refreshments in our pop up tea room. Suitable for all ages. Tours running through the day, just turn up.

Access Information
The museum is accessible for wheelchairs except the upper floor of the Long Shop due to our original staircase. Folders of the upstairs galleries are available.
