HODx - NEW events for organisers

Bite-size inspiration and planning days!

The HODs team will be touring the regions this spring with our new HODx events. These fun FREE days will be packed with inspiration and tips to help you plan sparkling events for the festival in our special anniversary year.

These FREE events are fun, social days, packed with information, tips and techniques, so come ready to learn!  Whether you're new to the festival or an old hand, there will be something for everyone with our lightning talk sessions. Your HODs team will take you through registration, media, marketing, and social media, with a focus on how to give events some added sparkle by engaging in our national theme. And, most importantly, your fellow organisers will be there to share their experiences.

An outline agenda:

  • 1030 - Arrival with the essential tea, coffee and chat
  • 1100 - Welcome and introductions
  • 1130 - Lightning talks: HODs 101
  • 1200 - Lightning talks: Organiser showcase
  • 1300 - Lunch
  • 1400 - Activity session
  • 1500 - Marketplace
  • 1600 - Fare-wells!

Please note the events in Leicester and Gloucester will be slightly shorter days, running from 1200-1600.
