Networking Days - Let’s talk about HODs!
Looking for new ideas to refresh your event? Want to appeal to families, but not sure how to go about it? Or maybe you staged a walk or talk last year that pulled in a huge crowd? Whether you want to share your successes, pick up some new ideas or get advice on the administrative aspects of organising an event, our new Networking Days are for you.
The HOD’s Knowledge Bank
Put simply, that’s you – our army of over 2,000 organisers who create unique events across the country. This year we want to harness that knowledge and help you share your expertise with other HODs participants, along with discussing topics that are relevant to your organisation.
How does it work?
At the start of the morning, a number of discussion topics will be suggested by participants. Each topic will last 20-30 mins, and several different discussions will take place at the same time, in different spaces. This means that there will always be something that is relevant or interesting to you – and of course you can suggest your own topic for discussion.
It’s a day well spent
Our networking events are completely FREE to attend. We will provide light refreshments and a great opportunity to meet other Heritage Open Days’ organisers.
These are fun, social mornings, packed with information, tips and techniques, so come ready to share and learn!
