Explore St Nicholas Church with its restored stonework and redecorated interior with many historic artefacts. Of special interest is the unique 17th Century Alcester Benefaction Board, rehung after major conservation work.
Roman Alcester Museum will be open over the weekend of 13th & 14th September 2025 when visitors will be able to view an impressive display of Roman era artefacts that have all been found in the town of Alcester.
The Baptist community in Alcester first met in 1640, one of the earliest Baptist meetings in the country. Take a walk around the original meeting house from 1735, and the later chapel dating from 1860. You can also visit the old burial ground.
Explore one of Alcester's Grade II listed timber-framed former dwellings, refurbished to provide modern facilities of hall, meeting rooms, kitchen and toilets for St Nicholas parish Church. A local history exhibition may be on view.
