Hidden from view - a secret arch and garden.

2.45 pm Pearl in the Egg brings the sounds of the medieval and Tudor worlds vividly to life through authentic performances on period instruments including harp, lyre, rebec, shawms, bagpipes and recorders. Performing in historically researched costume, the duo combines music, song and dance to recreate the atmosphere of courts, taverns and marketplaces from centuries past. They have appeared for organisations including English Heritage, National Trust and Historic Royal Palaces, delighting audiences with programmes ranging from Anglo-Saxon and medieval music to lively Tudor dance tunes.

Enter the old carriage arch of the building with 16th-century origins and now the home of Ward Gethin Archer Solicitors, you will find a secret garden and a builder’s stone dating to the 1700s.
