A local history exhibition about life in Guilden Morden, Cambs. in the 1870s

An exhibition about the two villages, Steeple Morden and Guilden Morden 150 years ago, with a table-top map of the villages highlighting various trades and occupations. These occupations are then featured around the exhibition with biographical details of the person concerned and their family.
The above is supported by newspaper extracts about the village and its people, census details from 1871 and background information about the period.
Artefacts from the period will also be displayed. A local school choir will perform music from the era on one day of the exhibition.
