200 Years of Methodism in Thorne

Come to Thorne Methodist Church and celebrate the Bicentenary of Methodism in Thorne

There will be displays to illustrate life in Thorne and the history of Methodism.
There will be the following talks:
10.30- 11.30 Frank Carpenter will give a presentation on Edwardian Girl Preachers who came to Thorne
11.30 - 12.30 Peter Chappell and Stephen Cook will give an illustrated presentation on the History of Methodism in Thorne

Refreshments will be available for 10am to 3pm. Bicentenary souvenirs will also be available
