As part of the Heritage Open Days celebrations, the historic Newport Cemetery Chapel will be opening its doors to the public. This is a special opportunity for visitors to explore this historic chapel and learn more about its history and significance within the local community.

Throughout the day, members of the public are warmly invited to step inside the chapel and take a look around a building that is not always open to visitors. Guests will be able to admire the architecture, discover the history of the chapel, and gain an insight into its role within Newport Cemetery over the years.

Staff and volunteers will be on hand to welcome visitors, answer questions, and share interesting stories about the chapel and the history of the cemetery. Information displays may also be available to help bring the history of the chapel and those connected to it to life.
