The Worcester news archives contain 100 boxes of press cuttings & photographs, Millions of b/w & colour negatives, 1500 glass plate negatives dated from 1936 to 1965 and 254 editions of the Berrows journals dated from 1801 to the 1990s.

As part of the National Heritage Open Days festival, Worcester Civic society are arranging guided tours of the Worcester news newspaper archives at Friary walk shopping centre in Worcester, just turn up at the History & Heritage POD area above the central bus station by the escalators, two guided tours have been arranged for 1200 and 1400 hrs, maximum numbers are limited to 20 persons, the event is free, will last for approximately an hour and pre booking is recommended

Guided tour times are at 12 noon & 14.00 hrs to meet up at the History & Heritage pod are at the top of the escalator above the central bus station, refreshments are available in the pod.
