A two hour guided walking tour of Lydney's Country Dock in the company of Gloucestershire' eminent Maritime Historian, guest speaker and published author Paul Barnett. Taking in the regions historical Victorian dock and surrounding hinterland, in order to explore the development, the use and eventual abandonment of this forest gem.
Tour to go ahead regardless of weather - book early to avoid disappointment, as places are limited to 40 for this enlightening look back at the regions maritime community and our last contact with a way of life long gone.

Travel to A48 (Lydney By-pass) turn right onto Harbour Road (B4231) continue past Lydney Lydney Train Station and straight on to Lydney Docks and Destination Harbourside, Meeting at the Harbour Cafe.
