"A Storytelling Hand" - An Architectural Drawing Workshop

The session will begin with a short presentation about architectural drawings and theory, with examples from global practices, before moving on to a short workshop of drawing the Sand House. It is brought to you by The Sand House Charity and will be led by Jacob Peplow, a qualified architect.
As with all Heritage Open Days events, it is free of charge. The event is open to adults and children over 12. (Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and places must be booked for both the child/young person and the accompanying adult.)
Materials will be provided, but participants are free to bring their own sketchbook, pens, iPad, etc., if they so wish.
Any level of drawing ability is welcome.

The Danum Gallery, Library & Museum is fully wheelchair accessible.
Doncaster Museum, housed on Level 1 of the same building, includes a permanent display about the Sand House. Attendees are encouraged to visit the display before or after the workshop. Cafe 1910 can be found on the ground floor (Level 0), where food and drinks may be purchased.
