A talk by local historian Chris Gatenby at the Old Chemist's shop on Bridlington High Street. Come and see the wonderfully preserved Chemist's Shop and hear about the fatality of a member of staff who worked here.

Chris Gatenby is married to the grandson of the last Gatenby to run the chemist's shop in Bridlington. The shop is complete with its original interior fittings and has to be seen. The Talk will be in the upstairs room and you will get to see artefacts that the family have preserved as well as to have an illustrated talk delivered by Chris. The shop is now known as "Alchemy at The Old Chemist" and is run as a gift shop downstairs. Space will be limited, so get your booking in so you do not miss out.

The shop front and interior are an amazing survivor from the 1800's and well worth a visit. Bridlington Old Town is a well preserved Georgian street with many historic properties. There are many HOD's events in Bridlington for you to enjoy.
