Launch of Kirkburton Village Archive Sat 19 Sept 11.00-15.00; an on-going project to bring the history of the villages of Kirkburton and Highburton back to life and make previously unseen documents, photographs, maps and memorabilia available to the public. Visit the exhibition and become part of the journey.
The Lych Gate Appeal will also be launched; this ancient gateway to our Grade 1 listed church building needs major restoration work , requiring substantial financial backing.
There is plenty to see on a visit to this significant medieval church
