This church was greatly restored in the 14th century and has many interesting features. The belfry dates from the same time and will be open on the day. There will be people ready to answer questions and provide details.

The church was enlarged and brought into medieval architecture in the 14th Century. Another transformation took place in the 19th century but many of the medieval features were retained.

Especially interesting are the Elizabethan font cover. The roof over the nave is especially interesting because of it’s panelling, and the poem which is inscribed all the way around the edges. More modifications took place at the end of the 19th century.

The separated belfry has well worn steps to the ringing chamber. The bells are a particularly fine peel, which also date from the 15th century, which will be rung on the day. Anybody is invited to climb and view, including during ringing.
