All Saints Church, East Hanningfield: 140th Anniversary Open Day
All Saints Church, The Tye, East Hanningfield, Chelmsford, Essex, CM3 8XA
We will be opening our church, which is usually locked apart from Sunday services. We will provide information about the history of the church and the previous church which it replaced. The church is Grade II listed and is considered by the Victorian Society as a very complete, and largely untouched example of its period. Refreshments will be available, as will children’s activities. Our churchyard, which contains 3 Commonwealth War Graves will also be open. Information about the men of our parish who are commemorated on our war memorial is also available.

Wheelchair access: church drive is gravel so wheelchair users may struggle and are advised to enter the churchyard by the small gate to the left of the main gates Disabled parking only at the church. All other visitors are asked to park in the village hall car park. Take the turning opposite the church.
