Explore our beautiful church, where the original 12th-century building blends with the large modern extension. Look for 'Jack o' the Green' and see the Mausoleum, one of only two in Derbyshire. A teddy bear hunt in the church will also be available.

All Saints Church, Wingerworth, is unusual, and even possibly unique in having most of the original 12th-century church still standing and in use while the modern extension is attached to it. The two structures blend together seamlessly. Visitors will be met by friendly parishioners eager to show them around all the features. Adults and children alike will enjoy looking for the squint and finding out how the font disappeared and was recovered. The mausoleum will be open for viewing. The Hunloke family installed it for their own use. It now houses a scale model of the old Wingerworth Hall.

After exploring the church, visitors will be encouraged to enjoy light refreshments. They will be served in the modern church centre, which is a few metres from the church door.
