We are awaiting to hear about our £860k application to Historic England's Listed Place of Worship Fund for the last phase of repair of this iconic and important building. Completing the form pretty well wrote the texts for our Open Weekend. We look at our history and our heritage, and present some of the current obstacles to making that more accessible and sustainable. We are part of an important heritage trail across this part of the city: with Clayton Hall at one end and Newton Silk Mill at the other, with Philips Park, us, and Lock 69 on the Rochdale Canal in between.
