Guided tour of the Lionheart Station site at the Aln Valley Railway. This includes the engine shed and museum.

There will be volunteers on hand to guide visitors around the site at Lionheart station. The guides will enable the visitors to understand why Lionheart station exists and why there is another much larger station in Alnwick. The engine shed contains several steam engines and visitors will hear the history of these and how they came to reside at Alnwick. The site also features rolling stock from various eras, including a Victorian carriage built for the use of railway officers and directors, which is now used for carrying passengers and, subject to availability, visitors will be able to step inside this vehicle.
