The Alnwick Garden presents an all new free history tour for Heritage Open Day. Join our guides as they take you around the picturesque Alnwick Garden whilst giving insights from its construction and development over the past 25 years.
Learn about the different gardens that have existed on the site and how Georgian gardeners used innovative techniques to grow exotic plants right here in Alnwick. Follow the story of how a tree nursery was transformed into the garden you see today and how The Alnwick Garden to this day carries on pushing boundaries and innovating.
