Alverstoke's Regency Garden
Crescent Garden, Crescent Road, Alverstoke, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 2BB
Visitors will enjoy a guided tour of the garden, originally laid out in the Regency period, and will learn of the history of this wonderful Regency Garden cared for by a dedicated team of volunteers for over 30 years.
A key feature of the garden is the planting. All plants must have been introduced into Britain before 1850 or are British natural flora. You'll hear all about these specific plants and trees.
The gardens' significance to the building of Anglesville and its links to the Austin family, will also be explained.
