The Methodist Church has been present in the village of Burley in Wharfedale since 1816. The current church was built in 1867. The architecture is Victorian Gothic designed by Lockwood & Mason who were also responsible for Bradford Town Hall, The Wool Exchange and several Mills. The organ dates from 1907. The church was re-developed in 2002.
There is a magnificent stained glass window.
The church is now part of a Multisite Church, Ilkley Moor Methodist Church alongside Ben Rhydding and Addingham Methodist Churches and in partnership with Christchurch LEP.
