Anderton Boat Lift Boat Trips

Board the Edwin Clark trip boat for a stunning river cruise, and listen to the informative and lively commentary and learn how the Cathedral of the Canals is a master of Victorian Engineering whilst also experiencing the scenic Weaver Navigation. Once a busy commercial waterway, it is now a haven for wildlife and a peaceful retreat for young and old to enjoy.

Please note: The lift itself is currently closed to the public while essential repairs are carried out to the caisson gates. However the Visitor Centre, coffee shop and grounds remain open to visitors to explore.
