Barton Volunteers, together with staff and residents of Achieve Together, invite you to explore a rare surviving air raid shelter in the grounds of this former clinic. Built during the Second World War, the shelter provided refuge for local people during air raids, offering a poignant glimpse into the everyday experiences of wartime life in Barton upon Humber.
