Architectural Gems of Cleckheaton and District Past and Present

Cleckheaton Library will be open Saturday 20th September 1000 to 1400.

Welcome to our Grade II Listed, Art Deco Library full of original features. See our display of local architectural gems past and present, Listed buildings and other heritage sites.

For children we have a Buildings quiz, Lego Club (morning) and Cleckheaton In Bloom Garden Trail. We will also welcome music by the Wickham Ukulele Band 1100 to 1200.

Light Refreshments available and excellent parking.

Directions:

Cleckheaton Library is approximately one mile from the M62 Motorway, Junction 26. Follow the signs to Dewsbury and you will come towards the centre of Cleckheaton. Turn right up Scott Lane into Whitcliffe Road (opposite the former Providence Chapel with its distinctive columns) and we are approximatey half a mile up Whitcliffe Road.

There will be musical entertainment from 11.00 to 12.00 also our regular Lego Club for children. There will be a Quiz for children and we have a Nature Trail in the grounds of the Library.
