A warm welcome awaits you at this imposing Gurudwara, chairman Tarlokh Singh Dhajal, beautifully converted from a Ringtons Tea premises. Find out about the building and the Sikh faith, traditions and culture; includes a tour and refreshments.

How has the exterior of the building changed and how has it been adapted inside? Where do Sikhs come from and how do they practise their faith, name a new born child or wear a turban. What are the five Ks and why are they important? There will be a tour of the building and an opportunity to find out the answers to the above questions and others which you may have.
Sharing and equality are important aspects of the faith and this extends to food. You will be invited into the kitchen/dining area to sample the hospitality.
This event is timed to allow the earlier visit to the nearby Jamia Masjid Huraira (mosque) for those who wish to visit both sites in the same morning.
A simple head covering is required and can be provided if necessary. Shoes to be left in the entrance-- socks or own slippers acceptable
